Your story matters and can be the catalyst for change.

Here's how you can share it:

Before You Begin:

  1. Choose your preferred format: written, audio recording, or video

  2. Decide if you want to remain anonymous

  3. Select which category your story fits best (your story might fit multiple categories, and that's perfectly fine! If none of these feel right, just mention 'Other')

  4. Gather any photos or visuals you'd like to include

  1. What specific situation or challenge did you face? When and where did this happen?

  2. How did it make you feel? What thoughts went through your mind?

  3. What impact did this have on you or your family?

    • How did it affect your wellbeing?

    • Did it change how you approached similar situations afterward?

    • Did it influence your decisions or choices?

  4. Did you feel supported during this experience?

    • What support did you need but couldn't find?

    • Were there assumptions made about your role as a woman/mother/caregiver?

  5. What would have made this experience better?

    • What resources were missing?

    • What do you wish others understood about your situation?

    • What changes would have made the biggest difference?

  6. Did this experience change how you see yourself as a woman/mother/caregiver?

    • Did it affect your confidence or sense of self?

    • How did it impact your relationships?

  7. If you found any solutions or workarounds, feel free to share them - but don't worry if you didn't. Sometimes just naming the challenge is enough.
